Obliging Lizard
Went for a walk to Jugger Howe moor. The moor was alive with bees enjoying the flowering heather. We saw lots of lizards - some very well and some just as they disappeared into the undergrowth. When we got back to the stile at the start of the walk, this lizard was sunning itself on one of the steps. It was very obliging and let me get quite close with my camera. It stayed sunbathing after the photo and we watched it for quite a while afterwards.
Went back for some lunch and then had to sort out the packing and cleaning of the house. Cooked just about all the food left in the fridge and freezer and did our best to finish it off. We then had a last family game of cribbage before wandering off to bed.
