A view of the Leeds Liverpool Canal from Rishton

It has been a warm sunny day and after the Fellowship service , I went on a walk with the watering can, to check out all the planters and the strawberry plants in the pub garden.
The strawberry plants are marvellous how they reproduce masses of small plants at the end of long tendrils.
I have planted quite a few in a cleared raised bed in the pub garden and hope they survive the Autumn colder weather.
Then I walked to the canal where I took this shot of the peaceful water .
There were no ducks, but soon after taking the blip, a group of walkers and a cyclist came into sight.
Maria is returning sometime this afternoon from her friend's birthday celebration and Paul will be soon driving home from his parent's, after celebrating his brother's promotion.
I was already involved with commitments at home so sent good wishes.
Arthur has been in the garden enjoying the sunshine, but no sign of Tiffany so far.
