Views from Spring Wood, Near Great Harwood

We had a pleasant stroll through Spring Wood this afternoon.
The weather was very warm and sunny.
The tall beech trees and silver birch create a wonderful canopy of leafy emerald green. This is a popular woodland, near Great Harwood, for families, scout groups and dog walkers. The paths are well maintained by a group who are Friends of Spring Wood, but it is best to wear sturdy shoes or walking boots, as the paths are uneven in places.
