Ready to celebrate Izzy's 18th.

I am so proud of our beautiful Maria who got dressed up for a friend's 18th birthday celebration in Clitheroe this evening.
It is so wonderful how some of these friends have been together since primary school days. They started off with MacDonald's parties,parties with entertainers and ball pools, swimming pool parties, then Bowling parties, Maria still has her skittle with all her pals names on it and it is a useful door stop. Now these girls are all grown up and go to pubs and clubs to celebrate being 18 and soon will leave home for their various universities.
I think there is some sadness in the impending parting of the ways, but they intend to reunite in the holidays and are full of bright hopes at the prospect of the adventure and challenges that lie ahead.
