Except I did have some overripe Bananas so there wasn't any choice really.
Busy today after a slow start. Met our former curate (from 1992) after lunch to show her round the church. She's taking our service tomorrow which will be a trip down memory lane. She was with us before women could be priests in the Scottish Episcopal Church, that didn't happen till 1994.
After I came home I messed about in the garden doing not very much of anything in particular so achieved a little of lots. I spent an hour or two on the sun lounger too, it won't be long before the weather will have changed so I'm making the most of it.
I made the banana bread with one hand while helping make a chicken salad with the other. I hate having to take it out of the oven without really knowing how cooked it is, clean skewer not withstanding.
With luck we'll have it at lunch time tomorrow. It's got pecans and sultanas in it because I like them.
