Woolacombe photo walk
Busy day! I sanded down lots of the filler in the study today, while Tim built a cover for the pipes, and laid the new section of flooring which turned up today. It was also an incredibly hot day, so we couldn't really carry on too long into the afternoon, as the temperature was nearing 30 degrees in there.
Cue a couple of hours of rest in the afternoon - during which I spotted that there was a photography walk happening that evening, led by Mark Johnson, who I've been following on Instagram for a few years. I signed up for it (via the National Trust), and hotfooted it over to Woolacombe after an early dinner. And very lovely it was, too. Really nice to meet Mark, who is entirely self-taught and very humble, but a great photographer. Some other nice girls/women on the walk, too - all holiday makers (including one who owns a house in Woolacombe) - so it was a nice friendly, chatty walk, with lots of great photo spots pointed out to us by Mark (including the one in this image).
Came back home at dusk and had a glass of wine with Tim :)
