Large rose sawfly (laying eggs)

I finished sanding down all the filler in the office today, and Tim painted the ceiling in there (two coats).  I also put up a new light shade in the small bathroom, which arrived the other day, but which appeared to have a piece missing (the seller replied today to tell me where to find it in the packaging - very well hidden!)

Had a little wander round the garden in the late afternoon, and spotted this sawfly on the rose.  Google Lens tells me it was laying its eggs in the rose stem.
