A Family of Ptarmigans…

There were 15 in all, on the Diablerets massif but in a different position to where I had seen them a week ago of course! Fortunately I met another photographer also looking for them who knows where they are usually found. She messaged me when she located them. Thank you Alexandra and lovely to meet another lady with a long lens and love of the Alpine fauna and flora. I usually see men in the mountains.

I’m blipping late because I think I’ve been scammed. Anyone else received a message from Mcafee? I finally got my bank card blocked but was waiting in one of those interminable queues for almost an hour. And Preston’s tracker isn’t working as it should so I have been trying to contact tractive, but you can’t directly of course. Now I have to finish sorting out for our granddaughter, husband and baby arriving from Colorado. I hope they have a good journey and arrive on time tomorrow in Zurich. Can’t believe another great granddaughter has joined the family. It will be fantastic to see both granddaughters as Mums together!
