The Water Station …

… for so many creatures but tonight the worker bees were taking their fill from a rapidly drying out pond in the garden, back to their hives to cool the hives. It’s been 33°C most of today and is still 31°C  at 7:30pm. Between bouts of preparation for the American granddaughter, husband and baby, I’ve been drinking a lot of water too! The poor cats re fed up with the heat! 

Thanks so much for your eagle enthusiasm yesterday. Today she/he had left the cliff for his life in the air. I had spies keeping a look out, people who can see the nest from their chalet who had kindly « adopted » me and even fed me lunch during my vigil! Such kind people.
