Busy day at work; trying to plot a course for Tuesday's shenanigans.
But mostly the day was about finishing at 4pm and boarding the 1630 Glasgow train to make sure I made it to this.
I finished Michael Pedersen's Boy Friends and then skipped onto the underground and out to Kinning Park.
I've not exhibited anything for years and thankfully Sonny had done all the hard work and at 1730 I strolled into a full set up exhibition!
I've never properly enlarged the Cigs canon and to see it larger than life was brilliant. And then I had to do the thing I hate most which is trying to explain the rationale behind it and pretend to be an artist and talk deeper meaning, when in fact it was mostly a self indulgent jape designed to explore Edinburgh in all its glory. A hoot, a lark. But I'm not sure that's acceptable in artistic circles....
Great to see Dreich and Kerry too (proud parents; as well they might be - of the film maker.)
And just like that it was over; trolley photo at Queen St; cold beer on the train home; and back to Her's for a catch up on car purchasing. Phew!
