We made it.
After a very difficult start to the year for Mr S, it was a great challenge to finish building our expedition truck for a longer trip this summer. The goal was to get to Nordkapp, and we’ve done it. Here we are, on a hot but very windy day at 71 degrees north.
A great drive, ca 200 km from Hammerfest. It was 15 Euros even to park for a short time, and about 18 Euros to get into the visitor center, cafe per person. We didn’t do this, it’s for cruise and coach parties mainly. We had coffee and snacks enjoying the view and being out of the wind in our cosy truck.
We drove back and found a great place to park for the night with a few others, after the major tunnel.
