Budleigh beach

It’s been a perfect summer’s day today. I was up early and quickly watered some of the plants. There was a slight cloud inversion but this rapidly dispersed and it became a sunny day with a cool breeze. My friend picked me up early for our Pilates class and we enjoyed a chat and cup of tea first. We were sitting outside with views across to the sea enjoying the sun. After awhile other members of the class joined us and we were so engrossed in our chat and relaxing outside side that it was a pity to go back indoors for the class. It was an enjoyable class though. As the weather was so lovely my friend suggested a quick walk along the beach at Exmouth. Not surprisingly there were a number of people out either on the beach or in the sea. A good way to start the day.

Back home l had a late breakfast and coffee and then spent some time doing various chores at home. In the late afternoon my husband and I went for a stroll along the local beach. It was looking lovely out there l was almost tempted to go for a swim but after all the recent pollution episodes l wasn’t tempted. What a beautiful day weather wise with the perfect temperature and light wind.
