A beautiful sunny morning so we set off early to Grange for the “Classics Over Sands” car show. By getting there early, we were able to have a good look round before it got too crowded. Some lovely cars on display - I’ve included just a selection in the photo - and I was able to talk to several owners who had done the sort of mods I’m thinking of doing if I manage to find a suitable Frogeye Sprite to restore/upgrade.
Most of the cars in the collage are easily recognisable, but I followed the one in the centre from Kendal to Grange without being able to identify it, despite being right behind it at junctions and roundabouts! Finally caught up with the owner and - after apologising for being the BMW tailgating him for several miles - I was able to find out what it was.
Kudos to anyone out there who knows what it is. Answer tomorrow if no one gets it…
