Musing of a Lady

Aviation Museum

Today has been lovely! We drove to Lelystad, to the Luchtvaartmuseum Aviodrome Aviation Museum Aviodrome. I'd booked the tickets last week (and got a discount on them) for today. We spent several hours wondering through the museum. It was basically a history of Dutch aircrafts and involvement in world aironotics. There was a lot of different planes on display, mainly Fokkers (named after Anthony Fokker, who first made them), as well as a few Douglas DCs, a Lockheed Constellation and, my favourite, a Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet. Its safe to say that Little Man had a lot of fun, as we all did! However, due to time, and a hungry boy, we didn't see everything. Its definitely worth the visit!

We ended our trip to Lelystad by going to a nearby beach, where we had a picnic and Little Man spent some time getting wet and running through ths shallow water, under my mum's supervision (see the last of the extra photos). We chilled on the beach for a while before driving back, via Woerden, to get some things from Action¹ and something for dinner, which we ate after Little Man had a bath.
