Morning Mists

I was awake early this morning, for no apparent reason. Little Man and my parents all slept until after eight o'clock. It gave me the chance to wake up a bit, as I'm not a morning person and some times I struggle waking up. Coffee helped a lot and my journal.

We went round to Timann and Luwellen's for brunch. They're house sitting for Peter and Eefje, the lead elders of Living Waters Church, who are away on holiday. We stayed well into the afternoon, just chatting. Little Man had a lot of fun with the three boys.

We then came home and my parents started dinner before popping out for a drink whilst I supervised the continued preparation for the meal whilst Little Man watched an episode or two of Paw Patrol on my laptop.

The rest of the evening has been spent in quiet relaxation. We're all tired and have needed time to ourselves. Little Man went to bed early, but needed my dad's firm, but loving encouragement to settle down and sleep.
