Junior Bake Off

Our younger grandchildren are visiting for a few days. They have both been inspired by the TV program Junior Bake Off and expressed a desire to make something from “The Family Recipe Book” a collection of hand written recipes, clippings, etc that make up a large lever arch file.
This is “Cherry’s Fridge Cake”, Cherry being my mother and Grandson C’s great grandmother. However, being an adventurous 7 year old, he insisted on using Belgian Biscoff biscuits for the broken biscuits and not the usual Rich Tea or Nice, etc.

Some people might know this a a Rocky Road pudding; basically made the same way.
