ABSTRACT THURSDAY

My Blip is a stretch as an Abstract.
Yes, it is a topographical map of the
terrain where the CANYON FIRE is
burning. Looking at it & trying to figure
out if the danger is close, is an exercise in frustration.

The fire started early this afternoon, about 30 miles north, near a pretty lake, & an
amusement park. When it started it was
30 acres, but balloon to 1500 acres in a couple hours. It really scared me when
evacuation orders were announce for my county. I scoured all the maps to see how close it is but they are like reading hieroglyphics.

Luckily, there is just a northeast breeze,
blowing the fire away from my city.
Also, I have an excellent wildfire
APP called WATCHDUTY that notifies me
of all developments, including evacuations.

I can sleep in my own bed, tonight, but
anxiously listening for any notifications.
