OFF PLAN

Becky, Mike and Astrid arrived around 12.45pm and we drove to Neils house.  Had a lovely time with Neil, Rachael and Ellis... not forgetting Luna who was very excited to have visitors.  Astrid isn't keen on dogs especially big boisterous ones so she played in the garden with her Dad for a while.  They found a hula hoop out there and had some fun.  She wasn't interested in Ellis at all.    Of course the rest of us were.  He's doing fine.  No more jaundice and hes gaining weight. He was asleep all the time we were there.  Keeping his Mammy and Daddy awake at night of course so they are both exhausted.

When we left Neils we headed back to Whickham and had a meal in the Wetherpoons in the village. It was fairly quiet. Astrid enjoyed her pizza.  I had chicken, chips and coleslaw .. very tasty ( obviously Im " off plan " at the moment ).

I got dropped off back at home and the others headed back home to Yorkshire,  I will be seeing them again very soon as I'm going down on Tuesday to visit for a few days.  Its Astrid's 4th birthday on Wednesday.
