Cheese pie

My sister is visiting Durham and in the Airbnb there was a recipe book where she found an old family favourite.  My mum used to make cheese potato which was piping hot with a crispy cheese topping - served with peas and carrots.  I can still taste it now.

My day was fairly uneventful - more painting - shed and boot store, another coat of stain.  OH was playing golf but home by lunch as I went off to the hairdressers.  I'm not normally 'high maintenance' but this week (partly because we are going to a wedding on Saturday) it is hair, manicure, pedicure and eyebrows!!  Most unlike me.
