Lavender

Monday so BP first (gets boring typing that).  Getting to know people better now after my NYR to being more sociable.

Home and OH was busy painting - we have a painter for a week so he is helping him to get more done.  I felt I should show willing so decided to stain the shed.  OH offered to take off the hinges and the door handle to make it 'easier' ie to avoid getting stain on the handle.  I told him 

a.  It was a shed
b.  It could not be seen from the house 
c.  It was MY project 

He laughed and let me get on.

In and cleaned up (covered in spots of stain) and did some sewing - I finished the wedding card for M & A which I was quite pleased with - more free motion sewing.

Dinner and while OH cleared up I picked some of my lavender ready to dry and make lavender bags.  I mentioned this at the weekend and BIL said it sounded really 'old' .........?  We watched a few more episodes of Mad Men - I just want it finished now - seven or eight series is too long but as they say 'I've started so I'll finish'
