White Horse Close

Keen to get some steps in, we headed off in the car to Midlothian, but due to some misdirections ended up heading into the city. So we decided just to park at Meadowbank Retail park and walk to the Royal Mile.

As expected, it was full of tourists having a great time. We had a nice wander and popped into White Horse Close off the Royal Mile to get a blip before heading back.

Now in the garden having some tea and scoffing some Battenberg cake.

We’re making a ham, egg and dumpling pie for tea.
