Sunny Saturday

Along with the rest of the UK, it’s been a beautiful summer’s day, with loads of people heading to the beaches. The same was true of Musselburgh beach, which, we have never seen so busy. As Martin put it, it was heaving!

Anyway, it was nice to see so many families having a lot of fun, building sandcastles and frolicking in the sea.

Earlier in the afternoon, we entertained our pal Murdo in the garden with homemade scones and cakes. 

If only we had a few more guaranteed days like this in the summer, then we wouldn’t need to jet off to Spain, Italy and the like.
