Chiffchaff

Noticed this wee bird in amongst the flowers picking off insects first thing this morning in our garden. I’m pretty sure it’s a chiffchaff although it wasn’t for singing at all today. 
After the heat started to soar I had a VERY hot morning in the Butterfly House - the temperature climbed to over 35°C which made things very uncomfortable. But there were plenty of volunteers to keep swapping in and out of the heat and shade. I stayed for most of the afternoon too when my own Photography Club came for a private session.

I was ready for a lie down when I got home but instead watched a very one sided women’s final at Wimbledon.
I do hope that the men’s final is a closer affair tomorrow.
