A day on the Orient Express… ok, Leith.

We had an enjoyable visit to see the new Superman film at the Vue Cinema in Leith, followed by a walk round Leith in the glorious weather. 

This was followed by a lovely afternoon tea on the Orient Express at the Queen Charlotte Rooms. This was a birthday treat from Martin, this being the first available date after my birthday in March. It’s good to see a business doing well, especially, when it was so nice and the staff absolutely lovely. 

It was a super experience on the recreated Orient Express, which even had screens as windows showing us travelling between Venice and London.

As ever, the afternoon tea was too much, so some pastries have come back home with us.

All in all, a lovely day.
