shadow box collage for mom

A last minute project... 
Yesterday when visiting mom, the Director of Life Enrichment introduced herself. She was helping with a music activity and saw us standing next to mom. After talking a bit, she asked me if I knew about the shadow boxes they have installed outside of everyone's door. I did not! She said we could add photos, things that mom likes or was interested in and offered magazines to look through if we needed. I told her I would like to go home & make a collage for the shadow box... Here it is! The extra shows the collage inside the shadow box outside of Mom's door. 

There are photos of my mom & dad at different times, me & my sister, my two nephews with my mom, my daughter Maeve and her wife, my son Dallas & his wife and our 2 grandkids, plus a very recent photo of me & my mom. xoxo 

Back to packing! I look forward to slowing down and visiting your journals while we are relaxing on Wolfe Island (Ontario) for 2 and 1/2 weeks. Fortunately, the cottage has wi-fi! We will also be visiting with family & friends and taking long walks down dirt roads, past the farmer's fields and wildflowers... Beda and the cats will be at a Pet Resort! Can you imagine? They are all senior animals and we felt they deserved to be pampered. We could not take Beda, like we did our small dog Daisy 2 years ago. I am hoping all goes well, with the extra attention they should be fine. :o)
