Hardy Hibiscus

Momma was up and in the rec room before either of us. Hubby made her some chocolate raspberry coffee (not my thing). She fell back asleep for hours. I had breakfast on the porch and hubby joined me for a bit. As you can see, our hibiscus is blooming. It was hard to decide which shot to blip. I froze four cups of crab meat; it will make wonderful soup this winter. I had to wake Momma up at 10:30 so she could have breakfast and her meds. My sister and BIL stopped by and brought more crab claws. An activity like that gives Momma something to do other than nap. It is good for her. After lunch, Momma’s godson and his wife stopped by for a visit. I was so happy Brooklyn had made the cake so I could serve it with coffee. My sister stopped at the Dept of Motor Vehicles and got a form for the doctor to sign so we can get a handicap placard. She took Momma’s stuff for next week. Hubby had to get Brooklyn to practice by 4:00. He will shop and pick her up at 7:30. I think it’s nap time in this house. Wishing you some down time. Stay safe.
