After the Fire

This fire hasn’t shut down Petersfield like the fire on the the through road through Midhurst but it has certainly shut this block down including our lovely, and extremely popular bookshop One Tree Books.  They have been inundated with support and messages and I have no doubt Tim will be finding ways to keep going.  They are apparently fully insured.  

Rainy day which the garden needs.  V went into school early for the prize giving day and I had Pilates.  Then went over to Mum’s for lunch with her and her carer Nicky.  Nicky is a hearty cook so I had to hold back a bit! Looked at photos with Mum and watched a bit of Wimbledon with her until rain stopped play there as well.  

Came through Petersfield for food shopping and took a look at Lavant St.  Cooked fish and beans for dinner and had a relaxed evening.
