Sunshine office

After lunch today I took to the hammock with a script (disappointing) and a Magnum (anything but). I have used the hammock so much more than I could have imagined this hot dry summer.  We took delivery of a new water butt as the old one was leaking and had a broken spigot.  The new one is zinc and ready for a hosepipe ban.  I watered the top and lower pots first thing and got the butt set up and filled.   

V was in London for lunch so I roamed free round the house for the day, doing a zoom in one room, an email in another.  I also spent a bit of time outside in the garden 

V dropped me back at the garage before catching his train.  I picked up the car which had been failing to start, turns out no one has ever cleaned the fuel filter, I didn’t even know there was a fuel filter.  Tried to peak down Lavant St to look at the fire damage but the road was blocked off. Wrote to Tim O Kelly to express support and sent messages on instagram.  They have had a lot of love.
