Sparrowhawk at the bird feeder

I know a lot of people would not like to see this visitor, but I love it when our local sparrow hawk makes an appearance. I’ve not seen it to be so brazen before as to sit on the branch where the old bird feeder hangs just in case any birds are a bit blind and fly into its clutches! They didn’t, and after a few shots through the kitchen window, it flew off.
Up until then, Foxy, the elder, was going to be my blip, now as an extra. I went out for a walk early this morning and surprised Foxy in the front garden who then ran across the road to a neighbour’s garden. He/she sat and watched me as I walked past, and listened to me as I wished it a good morning. I then had a lovely walk around the Loch, did a bit of weeding in the garden, went to help at the library from 1-5, went to the supermarket, came home, cooked tea and popped on my blip.
