Sally Mair - Loving life

Morning Light

It may have been a day of very heavy showers, but there were sunny spells too . The light coming through the stained glass windows after our midweek service was beautiful. When you sit in certain seats you feel bathed in the light. Beautiful.
After church I popped in to see one of our ladies who had a very nasty first of shingles in her face and affecting her eye. She says she feels like she's been in a boxing match. We had communion too which makes her feel part of what is going on.
I had a second appointment with the moth man at the Rectory. Hopefully the moths have gone for good now. Not what you want in your wool carpets.
I went to Costa and had a toasted teacakes and a chai latte, which bears no relation to Indian chai.
Ali and the girls popped in, Josie liked the scrunchie I'd bought her. Like her cousins she has lovely long hair. Bonnie's hair is different, shorter and curly. It will be interesting to see how it changes as she grows older, she has plenty of it even though it's short.
The sun is out this evening, let's hope that continues, the garden will have enjoyed it's soaking today, we humans less so
