Westfall

Butti took this picture. He was trying really hard to be artsy.

A solid breakfast before a tough run. We did a total of 7 miles (1.5 warm-up, 4 tempo, 1.5 cool-down) and it was difficult, but I loved it. We ran on Westfall Road, which is basically a bunch of rolling hills. I stayed with the front pack for the first two miles, and on the way back I led for quite a while. I finished 4th out of 16 runners and couldn't be happier. My last mile was 5:34 and it felt awesome.

Lunch, some free time, and then Breakout Sessions. I went to Soreness vs. Injury (taught by Sam and Alex) and then College Recruiting 101 (taught by Degs). I had a nice talk with Degs before the afternoon workout and he helped me figure some things out. I've officially decided that I want to run in college for sure.

For the afternoon workout, I went for a second run. We did about three miles on the campus trails, and they were super hilly. After dinner, I watched the dodgeball match before Foundation's Got Talent.

I was chosen as Camper of the Day by my counselors and DeLuna gave me an awesome shirt from City Sports Burlington.
