Sweet peas
Terry loves sweet peas so I grew some from seeds I had saved from last year's plants. The scent is wonderful. I wish I had grown more now - I have lots of seeds left.
It started out quite hot and humid but has cooled down as the day has progressed.
I have done some weeding and a bit of tidying in the gardens but not much else.
We have Terry's EUS test (endoscopic ultrasound ie camera down which has a miniature ultrasound probe) at the Royal Liverpool Hospital tomorrow. It could take a while so I am going to drop him off then drive to the waterfront and park up near Riverside Drive to do a little geocaching. When he is ready to be collected i can't pick him up on a drive by as I have to go in to the unit to get him since he will have had sedation so I will have to park upon the Q Park multi-storey, get the shuttle bus to the hospital and go to collect him (I could walk there but it's a good 10-minute walk and all up hill which my chest problems don't like). We will then need the shuttle back to the car park as there is no way Terry can walk to it, especially after sedation. What a palaver! The shuttle does not run on a timetable but has to be requested so God knows how long we will wait for that. Ah well, it has to be done.
