Tours (in a red weather warning)

We decided our best option was the service bus (air conditioned) into Tours where hopefully we could go between air conditioned buildings and explore. We got to tours and it was just baking. We saw a tourist train so had a 40 minute journey on that in which we saw all the highlights of the city, and then we walked to somewhere we’d spotted on the train for lunch.

A very long and leisurely lunch, with gallons of water imbibed - and then decided the best option was to get the bus back.


A rest and then we needed some fuel so we decided we’d walk round the supermarket just to cool off. Looked at all sorts of things just so we didn’t need to go outside again!

Now back at the campsite slowly roasting and taking on more water!
