The accidental finding

Tanabata

On Saturday in Stroud, there’s an opportunity to take part in some Japanese activities such as Saori weaving and tanabata making (involves paper). I would love to go, but I’ll be in Ledbury for the poetry festival. So here’s my confused shot of a window display highlighting the event.

Parts of the UK were as hot as Barbados today. I had an air conditioned room, fortunately. The time I wasn’t working, I’ve mainly been sitting around like a blob, doing the ‘mythical world’ jigsaw whilst listening to podcasts (one about social housing in the UK, and Camp Shane). It’s been too hot to do much else.

Today I gave away a tent, and took £22 worth of change to the bank . Something leaves every day.
