Warm night in
Very hot outside, so I stayed in for the most part. Thr money jar of pennies and small change was finally full, after 22 years, so I sorted and weighed the coins. I reckon there’s £70-£75, which is ok, because the telescopic ladder I want for the loft costs about £61.00. Getting into the loft should be a lot easier once I’ve got it, and there’ll be other uses too.
A person collected the bread machine I’d put on Freegle. Someone else asked for a tent, and I’ve offered an old one to him, from the loft. I even managed to find it!
GG and I went out to an ‘alternative market’ which seemed to be full of Goth accessories . Why did I go? Because I’m curious. Do I ever need to go again ? No, but of course I’ll be in Whitby in October, if I ever need anything (I’m going for a music festival, but the Goths are never far away in Whitby). GG and I had a drink outside in the sun on a bench, then she wanted to shoot off, I think she’d have preferred to stay in at my place today and watch a ‘video’, but I didn’t want to have to find something from all the streaming channels/catch up TV. It takes time to find the right choice for both of us.
I got the jigsaw going again later, upstairs in my sanctuary/craft room (this is now an option) and watched a lovely film callled All of us Strangers on Disney plus. That’s what you can see on the corner of the shot.
I wish I had photographed my coin-counting operation, but I was on a roll and couldn’t stop. Now I must iron a top for work tomorrow. I think it’s going to be hotter than ever on the last day of June.
