Beach Day

After our town visit yesterday we decided to visit the local beaches and even had a vague notion that we might venture into the rather cool sea - though with the temperature topping out at 18 deg C this was questionable. We started the day though at a local football club Penmaenmawr Phoenix where were able to watch the British Lions beat Western Force in Perth with 8 tries. This was accompanied by a full English breakfast with everything you can think of.

Our first beach was at the same little town and the beach was more like a stone collection upon which walking proved to be somewhat hazardous. However, returning on the bus LV decided we should risk life and limb crossing the A55 - more like a motorway to access to local beach - there was no other way to it and as you can see - there was no one to be seen. Cold though the water was, LV paddled and I went for full immersion - briefly!

Ended the day with me being slaughtered at snooker and making panini for our dinner.
