Willow arch - Vinters Park Nature Reserve

Our third walk in 4 days through this park to Eclipse Park, the solicitors, Marks and Spencer. Today we added Newnham Inn for lunch with oldest son Matt.

Completed all the paperwork, as far as we can tell, for the sale of both houses. Draft contracts will now be sent to the buyers solicitors. We await the response and also the results of a survey on Doreen’s property. The buyers are making another visit tomorrow.

A good lunch with Matt, lots of relaxed conversation. We’re looking forward to having him and perhaps our granddaughter to visit us in the Lakes.

It was the Bearsted and Thurnham Society AGM this evening where I presented my last report as Membership Secretary. Thankfully, someone volunteered to take over the role. Another chapter closes in Bearsted
