Took my blip shot in the back garden when I popped out to replenish the bird feeders.  Thanks to BikerBear for hosting.

Went to the hospital in Newcastle this afternoon to see my new grandson for the first time.  Rachael's Mam Pat was already there and Neil came later after his driving lesson.  Pat flew over from Ireland on Tuesday when she heard Rachael was in labour. Shes been helping out at home .. doing the washing, keeping Luna company etc ... and she went shopping for tiny baby clothes as all the 0 - 3 months ones that Rachael had already are for too big for baby E..

I was at the hospital about 3 hrs.  Some of the time I was in the cafe with Pat while Rachael fed the baby.  Good to have a catch up with her.  Baby E is my first grandson but he is Pat's 5th grandson. She has no granddaughters.

Baby E is doing OK considering he was 3 weeks early.  I managed to have a little hold of him ... see Extra.

After I left the hospital I did a bit of shopping in Tesco before getting a bus home.

Weather today was OK.  A few spots of rain here and there but nothing much.
