Purple Toadflax

Walked down to the village this afternoon.  The weather was dry and sunny when I set off but it soon started drizzling.  Very fine rain which was quite refreshing as the weather was warm. 

Got my blip shot in the back lane. According to PlantNet its Purple Toadflax.  Ive tagged it for the wildflower challenge.

Found some tomatoes on my doorstep when I got home - left by my sister in law.  Shes growing tomatoes and cucumbers in her large porch.  I was pleased to get some tomatoes as when I went shopping in Tesco they didn't have any.

Caught up with some TV viewing when I got home and I'm watching the Under 21 Euro Final...England v Germany.  Newcastle's Tino Livramento is in the England team.  Score at the moment is 2 - 2.  There are about 10 mins left to play.  Hope England can get a late goal.

Baby E is home now.  He was allowed out of hospital this afternoon.  Such good news.
