Celebrations

It was a gloomy and wet day today. So much so that our builders had to down tools in the morning. I drove son no 1’s partner back to the surgery and then made soup and a salad inspired by last night’s event. Once Mr P made it back home with the car, I headed down to Save the Children for an extra shift.
We were on tenterhooks all afternoon, waiting to find out if they had managed to secure the house in South Queensferry (went to closing at 12pm today) and we found out late this afternoon that they had. They’re both delighted!
