City Observatory

Another lovely morning. I hung around a wee bit later than usual to make sure Bb hung the washing out, however in the end TT hung it out. We said our farewells to BB, as he us off in holiday with some friends today-yikes!!! My final words were, don’t sleep in. He still had to pack his bag!!

There was lots of reflecting on yesterday’s events. I had hoped for a chat with my boss, but she wasn’t in. Luckily a colleague was willing to listen to me.

In the end I got home rather later than I would have liked, as so had to clear something before I left. After tea, I popped out for a few steps, and a/the badger ran across the road ahead of me, which was quite a surprise.

I walked up Calton Hill at lunchtime. The views were amazing, as was this display of flowers by the City Observatory. I also discovered a new cafe. Tonight I also spotted a deer in a field (extra).

In other news, BB messaged to say they had arrived safely and that it was boiling!
