A new broom . .

 . .  seems hard to find!

Wet, windy and miserable today! In and out depending on the weather - indoors, titling pictures and other 'office work', outdoors clearing up the flower pot collection and cutting back the wind-blown honeysuckle behind the greenhouse.

Went out after lunch to buy new brooms - indoors and out. I bought an outdoor broom a couple of months ago but at the first sweep the shaft broke off! Where are the bog-standard yard brooms that I've used all my working life? I tried three shops in Oban today before I found a good old yard broom which I hope will last for ever!

On the way back I called in at the Corran Halls to look at 'my' bed and pulled out a large dandelion that I must missed the last time. My Blip today is of some of the plants there. On Wednesday a couple of us from Keep Oban Beautiful are popping down to do some pavement crack weeding, weather permitting.
