Beauty from the East

Mostly dull again today, but as I write at 3.30 the sun is coming out, so I will be out too shortly, with a cuppa and a book!

Spent some time today carrying out repairs to the deck, the part that wasn't replaced last year. I was hoping that I could continue to keep it in reasonable condition and not have to go for a complete rebuild, but quite a bit of the timber is rotten. Still I've dealt with most of  the dodgy bits and will finish the rest after buying some more screws.

My Blip today is of a lovely primula, Primula capitata 'Noverna'. I'm not sure how this cultivar differs from the species - it looks much the same to me, but maybe the flowers are a deeper blue. I grew the species a lot in the past - a very distinct primula from Tibet and Bhutan.
