Summer Solstice

We've just got back from a lovely Summer Solstice garden party in Ludlow;   it was also to celebrate J & M finising  their  5 year project of renovating a very old property there.  They've made a stunning job of it and there's a great view from the garden! 


Lots of lovely food and a great mix of people, a lot we knew,  some we hadn't seen for a while and some we didn't know but quickly got to know!

We got home  at 10.45pm and drove nearly all  the way in the light. 

It has been the longest day today and a very hot and humid one.
