Queen's
I'm a bit of a Tennis nerd and have had a bit of a binge fest as to what has been going on at Queen's Club this week (The HSBC Championships is an annual two week event on the men’s professional ATP World Tour and the women’s professional WTA World Tour. The tournament attracts the world’s best players and since 1979, many iconic players and past Wimbledon champions have played at Queen’s. Previous champions include John McEnroe, Lleyton Hewitt, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Carlos Alcaraz, and most recently, Tommy Paul).
We've had some useful rain today, so after a late night last night it was a good excuse to just relax and watch the final match. It was brilliant, Carlos Alcatraz from Spain (last year's Wimbledon finalist) -v- Jiri Lehecka from Czecolasvakia. Oh wow, what an edge of your seat match. Two brilliant athletic players and a very entertaining 3 set final ....
My blip is of the winner, Carlos Alcaraz, but sorry I was only on my sofa watching the TV rather than enjoying the live match.
