HOW on earth ????

As I was going to my pt class this morning I was taken aback by this sight. This car was straddling a low wall, having destroyed much of what was behind it and the force of hitting it wrecked the remaking wall in front of the car!

I texted S to have a walk round the corner and see what happened .

Later when I went home the car was gone but an elderly man was talking to a policeman. S told me that it was an elderly man that was driving. I think it was a Sylvia Black moment ( accelerating instead of braking) what happened me me when an elderly lady ploughed into the side of mine at a roundabout.

Thankfully it didn’t happen half an hour before as this is a popular walking way for kids going to the two schools in my street! I think what has happened is that a car has swung round the corner where there is normally a van parked near the end and this guy has come down and swung the wheel and accelerated instead of braking.

Did packing in the afternoon and watering of my indoor plants. Lots of instructions for Laura with the pots…..
