Today was the funeral of my mum’s friend and next door neighbour in Blackford, Greta. She was 83 and wasn’t in the best of health . She had a fall at the Care Home in Auchterarder.

It was nice meeting up with folks from the village that I knew. There were a few moments of sadness when the celebrant was talking about events that Greta enjoyed . Brought back memories of childhood. She is the last of the generation of that crowd of people in my mum and dad’s friendship group.
