Celebrating! My first cliff walk!
Stephen took the photo with my phone.
I couldn’t resist my elation bursting through as I got to the view over Mullion Cove on my favourite cliff path walk after lunch today.
It was Blipper yeeeed who inspired this shot.
When she celebrates she’s usually holding up her bike! https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3380987731063606775
I still use one crutch on longer walks at the moment, and the cliff top paths are not exactly smooth. Lots of stony, pebbly terrain which is quite undulating at times.
It rained this morning and we even had thunder! I couldn’t help thinking we could do with some at home, where it is currently 29C. But the sun came out after lunch and it is very warm.
The garden will not have been watered since we left home yesterday, But it will survive and at least our friend will water it at some point, except he gets back from his holiday today!
We had a nice lunch before the walk, (which is only about a quarter of a mile from this bungalow) on the SW Coastal path. The Mullion Meadows Craft centre and Café are just at the end of our lane! (Photo of the lane in extras)
I really cannot tell you just how much I was filled with emotion at being able to walk without the awful debilitating pain of last year when we were here, and I was in tears.
This year I filled up when I had reached the view down into the Cove.
The sea really is turquoise and today it is a bit cloudy.
Stephen has now gone off to do one of the longer walks, while I have a bit of a rest.
We have seen the news and I offer no comments on it today.
Thankyou to those of you who have commented on my blips!
