Ladies who lunch…….

……….today.
I went with three of my friends for lunch at Ego Mediterranean restaurant which has opened in a pub fairly near to where two of us live.
In fact Ros and I walked there, whilst the other two arrived by car.
This is Mary, an amazing 83 year old that I have written about before with our lovely Polish server, She was having a good chat. Mary loves Poland having visited several times already.
We had finished our very tasty meals and were sitting chatting for ages.
Always a very good ebb and flow of conversation!
It has been a very warm sunny day, and I had all the bedding on the line early on, Then another general load of washing was hung out later and it has all dried quite quickly,
Yesterday Stephen and I went to Coughton Court National Trust before lunch,
It was a perfect Midsummer day spent amidst beautiful gardens, rose gardens, walled gardens, formal gardens and a river walk. So much to drink in and absorb. In fact chatting to another couple she said to me, “It’s good for the soul”.
