A lonely abutilon megapotamicum flower

I hadn't pruned this plant, an Abutilon megapotamicum (Trailing Abutilon), in quite a while until a few weeks ago. I rather hacked its long leggy shoots knowing that I would get few flowers this year. But I'm pleased that this one has managed to emerge. In case you are wondering the green foliage is from a completely different plant, a bonsai I inherited years ago, about which I know nothing.

I've loved abutilon plants for their weird flowers ever since I saw Mrs Harpur's massive plant in her conservatory about twenty-five years ago. Ever since I've tried Mohave at least one plant growing nearby but never as effectively as she did.
